The Runcible Spoon
The Runcible Spoon is an independent, non-profit online poetry journal. We accept submissions from young poets (aged 6 – 12) who live in New Zealand.
The editor also invites essays related to poetry, childhood, education and creativity.
About the Editor
The Runcible Spoon is edited by Caroline Masters, a freelance writer and teacher from Laingholm, Auckland.
Caroline has a MA in English Lit and 8 years teaching experience. Her writing has been published in CHO, Takahe and in various anthologies and academic journals. She’s passionate about promoting creativity and has worked with schools and teachers to develop creative literacy programmes. She’s currently writing a book on how poetry can raise achievement in schools. She also runs children’s poetry groups in West Auckland.
